Dancehouse (Táncház)

The centre of Royal Days International Folk Dance Festival is the Dancehouse (Táncház) in the town of Székesfehérvár. During the festival the building is open all the time.

In the afternoons the Dancehouse offers activities for the young generation. During the “Royal Playground” the guest ensembles of the festival entertain the children.
In the evenings there is a screening of dance movies, the program is called “Royal Screen”. After the screenings the Folk Evenings begin.

“Folk Evenings” is perhaps the most popular program of the festival. Every evening two or three ensembles present their dances, music and gastronomy.

Székesfehérvár - Open-air stage

The open-air stage offers music and dance performances every evening.

The stage is located in the very heart of the town, on Városház square. The performances are free of charge for spectators.

Nearby towns - Mór, Sárbogárd, Várpalota, Velence

Besides the performances in Székesfehérvár, the ensembles also perform in nearby towns.

During the history of Royal Days the participants have visited Csákberény, Mór, Sárbogárd, Várpalota, Velence and Veszprém.
